Truck Floor Mats

If you've just gotten yourself a new truck, one thing you're going to want to get right off the bat are a set of truck floor mats.

Why?

Well, you want to keep the inside of your truck clean of water, snow, dirt and mud and whatever other debris might wind up in it. It also will help to protect the fabric if any that is a part of the truck, if that gets dirty and stained, it can bring down the value of your vehicle.

Now as far as what kinds of mats you can pick up, you can choose from either rubber mats, carpet mats or even aluminum mats. Chances are though that you'll want to go with rubber mats as those are the most popular and also the most functional. Carpet mats are nice, however if you tend to be in the snow or mud often, they will get dirty quickly.

As far as how much they will cost, most will run you around $30-100, depending on what type you pick up. You probably won't want to pay more than that, however there are mats which cost $200, 300 or even $400!

When you are picking which brand you want to go with, you will be choosing between the following:

Aries Automotive, Bully, Coverking, Dee Zee, Highland, Husky Liner, Lloyd Mats, Nifty, RBP, Rugged Ridge, Wade and Weathertech

Nifty is quite popular though, you might want to go with that.

Now in addition to getting these, you'll also want to consider other accessories. For instance truck bed covers are a necessity if you haul anything at the back of your truck. Without this, your truck will get all scratched up in no time.

Also, you'll want to carry an extra set of 4x4 truck tires, especially if you constantly traverse various terrains, you will want different tires for different conditions. You'll be able to find yourself a good set if you can find a discount tire warehouse near you.
